Always a welcome sight in the Inland Northwest, spring brings a vibrant array of prairie wildflowers and rivers surging with snowmelt. The “real” ski season begins in the backcountry, where long, sunny days allow for high-elevation objectives. In the valleys, the ski-season stoke carries over into whitewater rafting and mountain biking. This is also my favorite time of year to photograph in and around downtown Spokane
