Yurt skiing western Montana’s Swan Range

I just got back from another great backcountry skiing trip at Yurtski in the Swan Range, Montana. Despite the avy danger in the region, there were plenty of safe options, and plenty of snow, too–over 140 inches and counting at the yurt. Look for a couple backcountry skiing stories about Western Montana’s Glacier Country later this year.
