Prairie pasqueflower

Prairie pasqueflower (Anemone patens). This is related to the western pasqueflower which one might see in the mountains of, say, the Cascades. “Pasque” is the Old French for Easter, and refers to the plant’s habit of flowering around Easter–or sometimes much later!
