Blue-eyed grass

Blue-eyed grass (Sisyrinchium angustifolium) is not a grass at all but rather a member of the iris family. This is one of the first–and most beautiful–wildflowers to bloom in the open ponderosa woodlands and shrub steppe of eastern Washington.
